As the host of the Crows Nest Holiday Villas, Gail would like to welcome you to come, stay and share this beautiful, peaceful corner of the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
Originally from North Canterbury in the South Island, Gail started managing Crows Nest Holiday Villas in 2015. Gail and her husband wanted to move to a warmer climate, so they went on the road, living in a caravan, for three years touring the North Island to find the right place to settle. Eventually they decided to settle in Opua in the Bay of Islands in 2008. They have enjoyed the great lifestyle and climate of the Bay of Islands ever since.
Gail and her Husband also play indoor bowls and Mah Jong. Gardening is also a favourite pastime in the favourable Opua climate. Within their community, they support the local ‘Love Opua’ group that aims to improve Opua and support local initiatives. They often go out fishing in their 5.5 metre boat on the tranquil waters of the Bay of Islands that surround the villas.
Gail likes to help her guests enjoy the beautiful Bay of Islands with the many activities available. She likes to think her guests will leave Crows Nest feeling re-charged and invigorated after their stay.
Whether it’s taking a cruise through the beautiful Bay of Islands, kayaking in the clear blue waters, diving, fishing, or relaxing at one of the many safe swimming beaches, Gail has all the local knowledge to help guests find what they want.
